A Fully Computerised and AGPAL Accredited General PracticeAt Beckenham Medical Centre, there are professional and committed doctors, nurses and receptionists from diverse ethnic backgrounds. The medical Practioners and nurses have extensive local and
international experience and work to provide patients with excellent health care services.
The multi-lingual practitioners and staff are fluent in English, as well as Swahili, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Mandarin, Afrikaans and Filipino. The centre is also registered with an interpreter service (TIS National) to further
ensure that patients from all backgrounds can be accommodated. There is a dedicated after-hours locum service, WADMS that provides patients with care and support outside of practice hours.
The practitioners and friendly on-site nurses provide a variety of healthcare services including chronic disease management, Preventative health, antenatal care, Employment & Drivers medicals, worker’s compensation, travel vaccinations, immunisations, Iron Infusions, paediatric care & skin checks. There is an onsite pathology collection centre for the convenience of all patients.
Beckenham Medical Centre is ideally located for patients living or working in Beckenham, East Cannington, Wattle Grove, Orange Grove, Kenwick, Langford, Cannington, Lynwood, and Ferndale. There is a pharmacy conveniently located right next door to the practice, making it easy for patients to collect any prescription medicines quickly and easily following appointments.
The practice has a range of magazines and a television for your entertainment and information.
Our Fees
- Standard consult: $60
- Long consult: $100
- New Patients: $100New patients & first time consult
- Drivers license medical: $130*may be different for individual practitioners
There is a private fee for all appointments and payment is expected on the day. Bulk billing is only available for Face to Face appointments for children (15 and under) and concession card holders. ALL Telephone consults and Saturday Appointments will be charged PRIVATELY regardless of age and/or concession status.
The private fees at the practice are subject to change at the discretion of the individual practitioners and patients will be advised accordingly.
